As you were reading Matthew 6:25-34, the 32nd verse in the NLT got my attention, it’s says these things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
Dominate means to be most importance, exercise control over being in charge, rule, domineer. CEV says only people who don’t know God are always worrying about such things.
If you know and belong to God then why are we worrying. God has his children he knows exactly what and when we need things. So keep our eyes on the one who will keep us in perfect peace.
Yes those type of thoughts are thoughts of an unbeliever. Unbelievers miss out miracles!!! Think back to Jesus not being able to perform but only a few miracles in his hometown. It was because of their unbelief!!
